I found this training very useful.  As I had already attended a lecture at Edge Hill University on this topic it was reassuring to hear the same messages communicated.  The session offered some practical ideas of how to adapt your lessons for children who have English as an additional language, and some basic classroom strategies to help integrate children who may not know any English.

My future professional practice placements will be impacted by the training because I believe I will be more confident to suggest strategies to the class teacher.  I am also developing a sense of good practice for when I become the class teacher.
